Genetic Variation Within a Population

Genetic variation within a population is all due to the order of nucleotides in a specific gene. The photo above includes the same flower in differing colors. The fact that the same plant has different colors is genetic variation. Whether one variation is stronger than the other is left to evolution. Genetic variation can be seem within my family, there are a lot of different eye colors.
