Fermentation



Fermentation is the conversing of a carbohydrate to an acid or an alcohol. Fermentation can be referring to the use of yeast to convert sugar into alcohol. Speaking of alcohol, the photo above includes wine. The grapes of wine are fermented to form wine. The other object in the photo is yogurt. Yogurt is made by fermenting milk to create lactic acid.
